CALIFORNIA

-Driver & Passenger windows must allow 70% Visible Light Transmission (VLT). If your vehicle is equipped with factory laminated glass, your driver & passenger windows will meter around 76%. Applying any after market film will lower your VLT% below the legal limit.

-Rear passenger windows, rear quarter windows and rear glass, any darkness can be used. This applies to all types of vehicles i.e Sedans, SUV’s, Mini-Van’s etc. Rear passenger windows, rear quarter windows and rear glass equipped with factory laminated glass will meter at 26% VLT. Applying any after market film will lower your VLT% below the posted VLT% on the film roll box. EXAMPLE: Placing 5% film over factory laminated glass “26%” will render a VLT% lower than 5%.

-Windshield’s may be tinted as long as the film applied is non-reflective and does not go past your vehicles AS-1 line or 4” whichever comes first.
